Due to the works to be carried out by Adif on the railway infrastructure, train circulation will be affected throughout the entire Media Distancia ‘Sagunto – Teruel – Zaragoza’ corridor and on the Valencia Cercanías C5 line.
Thus, from 17 February to 17 November 2025, an alternative transport plan will be implemented, which will entail a modification of the usual Renfe service timetables and travel times.
On line C5 of Cercanías Valencia: The entire section between Sagunto and Caudiel will be served by high-capacity buses.

Check all timetables and combinations with other trains on the website: https://www.renfe.com/es/es/cercanias/cercanias-valencia/horario
In the medium distance corridor ‘Sagunto – Teruel – Zaragoza’: In this section, the complex orography of the route and the characteristics of the roads that cross it, make it necessary to use vehicles of different capacities and dimensions to implement the alternative transport plan. Large-capacity buses, minibuses and, when necessary, VTCs will be used.

Main actions to be carried out by Adif:
- Adaptation of 45 overpasses and 19 tunnels to adapt their dimensions to the new electrification system being implemented on the line.
- Other improvements in the area of track (renovation of the track, turnouts, is is the can and is is is the can can can should the can should the can should the can and is the can should the can is the can the can the can the can the can the can the can the can the can the can the can the can
- Installation of a new automatic blocking system to regulate traffic between Caudiel and the exit from Zaragoza to Teruel.
- Construction of a 750 m. siding at Cella station.
- Suppression of a level.
The objective of these actions is to reinforce the interoperability and reliability of the line, providing it with more capacity and increasing traffic speeds to achieve more competitive journey times and minimise the possibility of incidents. In addition, electrification will promote more sustainable mobility and will enable the infrastructure of this strategic axis connecting the Mediterranean with the Cantabrian Sea and the Atlantic to be adapted.
