How to come
to Navajas
Navajas is 383 metres above sea level and is located in the Alto Palancia region in the southern interior of the province of Castellón. The municipality is located in the central part of the Palancia valley, surrounded by medium-sized mountains with abundant pine forests. The Palancia river flows through the municipality and has a large number of springs along its banks, many of which have mineral-medicinal properties. The climate is of a mild and pleasant Mediterranean type, with no extreme temperatures, except on specific days. All these factors have contributed to the fact that our municipality has been visited for more than three centuries and has been a pioneer in tourism in the Valencian Community. The communication links have always favoured travel, especially since the creation of the railway at the end of the 19th century. Also due to the proximity to the Royal Road of Aragon, which later became a national road and is currently the A-23.
