Next Friday, 22 August, at 10:30 p.m. in the Plaza Virgen de la Luz in Navajas, we will be able to enjoy Arantxa Domínguez and Ricardo Belda (SÓLIDOS) in their show ‘Cançons de Vida i Somnis’ (Songs of Life and Dreams), which is part of the ‘Diputació a Escena’ cultural circuit.
‘Cançons de Vida i Somnis’ was born out of a desire to offer not only jazz music, but also poetic content, stories and a desire for understanding. It was born out of singing songs with emotion and meaning, adding elements to make them sound like jazz, adapting lyrics to jazz and ‘jazzifying’ singer-songwriter songs, improvising on them, imitating the sounds of instruments with the voice… And ultimately achieving a gesture for music, language, poetry and understanding.
We encourage residents and visitors to enjoy this cultural initiative, which will offer us a different kind of jazz concert, a repertoire of songs made into jazz.
