After last month’s walk through Gaibiel, we propose a beautiful route that runs through the Natural Municipal Area of La Casella, in the Valencian town of Alzira. It will take place on SATURDAY 29th MARCH.
It is a quasi-circular route starting and finishing in the second car park of La Casella (next to the Gastronomic and Cultural Centre), with a medium difficulty, but suitable for everyone. It will be about 8 kilometres, where we will cross an old deer reserve, visit a lime kiln and the forest house of La Casella. We will go up to L’Ouet, an old forest observatory with beautiful views of the mountains and the Mediterranean coast, and then we will visit the Galera cave. The route has a difference in altitude of 370 metres and lasts approximately three and a half hours.
Comfortable clothes, walking sticks, cap, hiking shoes, enough water and lunch are recommended.
There is also the possibility of staying for lunch at the Centre Gastronòmic i Cultural La Casella, once the route is finished (25 euros menu).
Last day to book is Wednesday 26th March, by sending a private message.
The meeting point will be in Navajas, at the roundabout of the monument of the jump of the bride at 07:15 hours, to move with cars to Alzira.
We have a location point for those who wish to travel directly.
If you feel like enjoying a nice morning of hiking, come and walk!!!
