Before diving into the Navajas festivities and following this summer’s night-time marches, Caminando Por Navajas resumes its hiking activities by covering part of the recently opened mojones route and celebrating the 126th anniversary of the Pino Tirador, a beautiful specimen of Pinus halipensis located in Rascaña, with a charming history behind it.

🗓️ It will be this coming SUNDAY, 7th SEPTEMBER.
📍 Meeting point: Plaza del Olmo.
🕗 8:00 am.

This is a circular route starting and ending at Plaza del Olmo in Navajas. It is of medium difficulty but suitable for all ages. It will be about 8 kilometres long, along the plateau to Mojonada, climbing towards Rascaña, celebrating lunch at the foot of the Pino Tirador pine tree for its birthday, and descending towards Navajas through the Salto de la Novia waterfall. The route has an elevation gain of 195 metres and takes approximately 3.5 hours.

Comfortable clothing, walking sticks, a hat, hiking boots, sufficient water and lunch are recommended.

Come along for a walk and at the same time, you will discover some of the Navajas boundary stones and this ancient Navajas pine tree.
