If you fancy watching a beautiful sunrise from the top of Pelao, with the Sierra de Espadán mountains in front of you, don’t hesitate to come for a walk. With a torch in hand, we will get up early to wait for the sun to rise from an extraordinary viewpoint in the early hours of 14th to 15th August, on the night of the waning moon.
The route is about seven kilometres long, takes approximately four hours and has an elevation gain of 250 metres, starting and ending at the Salto de la Novia monument at 5:00 a.m. ‘by car’.
With a medium difficulty level, comfortable clothing, long trousers, walking sticks, hiking boots, a cap, water, breakfast and headlamps to light the way are recommended. Don’t miss out!
